Mohammed Jalil Rasouli, born in Hamadan in 1947 and moved to Tehran in 1960, where he gained his experience in Calligraphy.  In 1968 he started his activities as an atelier, and had his first solo exhibition in 1973 at Seyhun Gallery. Mohammed visited museums in Europe to expand his experience and imagination, where he participated in the Islamic Art exhibition in London. He participated in many Solo exhibitions in China, Turkey, Rome, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Germany, Canada and Japan. After that he participated in over 40 group exhibitions at home and abroad.
 
In1988, he received the title of master from Calligrapher and in 1991 participated in an exhibition held in Germany "The First Festival for Iranian Arts”. Jalil received many awards; the latest was in 2004 where he received the Prize of Pure Wisdom & the prize of the Commemoration of the War Combatants. Jalil published many books; his first book detailing thirty years of calligraphy and calligraphic painting. He later published his books ‘The Memorial of love’ in 1996 and ‘Green leaves’. His latest book is ‘Garden of Paradise’.
