Biography
Shadia a renowned Saudi artist, has participated in many exhibitions in Saudi Arabia and abroad. Her artwork has been awarded prizes and is collected by many private art collectors. She was awarded the Utopia prize on one of her paintings during a British Airways exhibition. The painting was chosen to represent Saudi Arabia on the tailfins of some British Airways Aircraft.
During the early nineties, Shadia worked on a group of paintings which she named the” Wabar” collection ,oil paintings on paper, from which 10 of these works will be on display during the exhibition. For the past three years Shadia has been actively involved with photography and Multi Media effects. She will be showing two new photography collections, the “compassionate wires” collection and the “rain” collection. There will also be one installation work called the” Powerless” and two books, “Sighs “and the” Delta” Art book.
