Khuyut al-Hawiya: Threads of Identity opened at Albareh Art Space in Adliya on the evening of Tuesday 20 October. Thank you to everyone who came to see the works, meet the artists and celebrate the threads that brought this exhibition together. The exhibition runs until 4 November.

Group two. Latifa AlShaikh and Noor AlSairafi take their places at the loom at Albareh Art Space for the second two-day session, 22 to 23 September, with master weaver Habib Mohammed Saleh: warp tensioned, shuttle in hand, five hours a day.

المجموعة الثانية. لطيفة الشيخ ونور الصيرفي على النول في مساحة البارح للفنون في الجلسة الثانية، ٢٢ و٢٣ سبتمبر، مع حرفي النسيج حبيب محمد صالح: السدى مشدود، والمكوك في اليد، خمس ساعات في اليوم.

The loom is set up at Albareh Art Space, threaded and tested the day before the first pair of artists take their places at it. From 20 September, two days for each pair, five hours a day, under the master weaver's guidance.

النول في مساحة البارح للفنون: يُسدّى ويُجرَّب قبل يوم من جلوس أول مجموعة ثنائية من الفنانين إليه. من ٢٠ سبتمبر، يومان لكل مجموعة، خمس ساعات في اليوم، بإشراف حرفي النسيج.

Where the programme lives for the next ten days: the traditional looms of the Bani Jamra weaving factory, and master weaver Habib Mohammed Saleh at the warp. Five pairs of artists take their turn here from 20 to 29 September.
